The wisdom of love

The wisdom of the world is about survival, overcoming adversity, being successful, rising to the top, building your legacy, and do whatever it takes to get there.  There is story after story in the world of people rising up to success in this world and legacy after legacy crumbling.

The wisdom of God isn’t about survival or destruction.  The wisdom of God is about building on a foundation of love, in love for all.  It’s about standing on the foundation of all the promises of God and His unyielding love for you. The world teaches us we will have freedom through money, and God teaches us that we will have freedom through His spirit that is overflowing within us. "I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being” - Ephesians 3:16

Everything we need in this world for ourselves and for others is promised to us.  Everything we are so desperately seeking to build for ourselves, God has already given us.  If we lived and created with confidence in all of God’s promises, for God and not for ourselves, and with the strength and power of God in us and through us and not our own, and by His wisdom that will reveal all things instead of the worlds wisdom that deceives,  imagine how many burdens and pressures would lift.

Solomon father was a warrior, but Solomon was asked to build God’s kingdom.  He did it seeking the wisdom of God, even though it went against the ways the world was building kingdoms, even the way David conquered kingdoms.  Solomon built God’s kingdom in love for all, which led to peace and love for all.  

There is nothing we can discover or create that is greater than what God has already given us and wants to teach us.  God’s wisdom leads to “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” -Galatians 5:22-23
